Chubb Queen’s Dolls House Victorian Money Box with Key

CollectingCollectables.com are selling this novelty multi-coloured impressed advertising tin moneybox in the shape of the Queen's (Queen Victoria) dolls house. This money box was issued by Cauldon Potteries Stoke on Trent (potters to the Queen) in conjunction with Chubb & Son's Lock & Safe Co Ltd.

The bank appears to be in the form of a very special dolls house - Buckingham Palace - with front illustration bearing the Royal Coat of Arms. The base reads:

"Model of The Queen's Dolls' House issued by Chubb & Son's Lock & Safe Co. Ltd 128, Queen Victoria St., London, E.C. 4 By special permission of HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN (and with the consent of 'The Cauldon Potteries Ltd.) One Shilling Each

The Queen's Charities benefit by the Sale of each Model”

Decoration has been rubbed off the top and there are scratches all the way around. Most of the decoration is present and is still attractive. The original key is present and the lock works. Still very usable!
